photoblog image Sepia structure

Sepia structure

When the sun is out I take walks with my camera and you know what that means SNAP SNAP SNAP. Anyway I lived in Brighton last summer and this is one my shots from one of my many walks. Brighton was such a beautiful place, you should visit sometime, especially during the summer.

Anyway its the weekend I won't ramble. Have a nice one everyone.

I think this works well in black and white. The sweeping curves also help in making the composition interesting. Nice, I like it.
Hm, looks like the scene from a movie I saw on black and white TV ... Looks great to me.
I like this, good tones and composition.

Hi!

There is something I really like and find intimidating about this shot. Because it's a low angle shot, the structure looks so overbearing. Also the sky looks dark and ominious. straight out of an hitchcock movie! ... and that's a compliment!

Wow! I love the tone, contrast and shapes. Nice job there. Only nitpick i have is that the balance of the image seems somewhat off (very heavy towards the bottom). Maybe you could try a 16:9 ratio crop and get rid of more of the sky to help balance out the composition. Just my $0.02.

thanks for all ur comments.
Denosha: I am not technical what is a 16:9 crop? U guys are on another level
Remember widescreen TV? That's got a ratio of length to height of 16:9 (about 1.78). Your shot is 3408:2226, which is about 1.53. To cut out the jaron, Denosha meant that maybe you can make your shot more "widescreen" by cropping a bit of the top off.
