photoblog image Gloom

Gloom

Its monday and I feel like what this picture looks like, a gloomy day. Two reasons: one its monday and the weekend is over, two: the image I wanted to put up couldn't be uploaded due to technical issues. I hope it gets sorted soon.

This image was shot in Brighton on a cloudy day at the pier.

Have a nice day everyone.

I think we're all been hanging around "you know who" too long (say that in a Harry Potter style). IMHO, this shot is a fine piece of work on it's own. I especially like the panoramic spin to it. Unfair to compare against photoshop gurus. wink
I like the shot. I love wide skinny photographs. And the bW makes the scene feel very elegant
Great shot, more admiration flowing your way.

Well done. Brill work as usu.

I cant seem to see any gloom though that probably could be explaind
away by my refusal to let anything get to me today. Or just that the people dont seem to be affectd by the state of the weather . Your pick!

Ps: sorry about the picture
sk: I'm happy today and the weather here is Ok. The pic is going up tomorrow, thanks for the comments.
You may have pointed it at the same things DJN points his at (I'm talking camers here) But it is uniquely your style and not DJN's that does not mean better or worse!. It is however a good image and titled well. Did you use a grad filter for this?

Beautiful scenery!
Gosh how i miss that place. It's like i'm missing a vital organ. Sorry, anyway, i love this shot. and not just because it's of Brighton. It's so atmospheric, it's like a omlette of moods.

This is a very aged feel. I love it.
