photoblog image In focus of lovers

In focus of lovers

Our portrait fiasco is coming to end, I thank you for all your comments. I couldn't find anything to up due to work and time constraints so I popped out an old image. I need to start shooting more.

This shot was from friends wedding last year during their first dance as a couple. As you can see the bride was very happy and was constantly beaming the whole day. So whatcha think about this one?

So as you have gone through this journey of portraits with me, what has been your favourite image from the week?

Thank God its friday

Lovely!

ps. out of curiousity, how do you get that slightly out-of-focus glow in your pictures? it really add so much depth to your photos.
:-( way too much photoshop!thank God it's friday too!
sk: dude I hardly did anything, b&w with channel mixer and then soft focus using channel. that ain't much.
Nice ethereal effect. Though glowing teeth some how don't go down too well with me. Everything else glowing is ok.
sk: her teeth are white cos she uses Aquafresh twice a day te he he, thanks dude
Since I like ure work.....let me expand my comments...

the best photoshop work sometimes is the less evident!

Pls don't fall into that category of "trigger happy" photoshop users.

Time will teach you when to start( if necessary) and hopefully, when definately to stop.

In the above pic, in the attempt to focus more on the couples eyse..... the whole pic looks very un natural :-(
sk: nice to have u back, I hope u stay and stop disappearing. do u know I didn't even try to focus on their eyes using photoshop, i did the focusing when taking the shot.
opps....typo abound.....red alert! :-D
sk: sheller!!!!!!!!!! U supposed to tell which is ur best, or do u hate all of them? LOL

Great wedding pic - I am sure they would treasure a special image like this! cheers
Love this image. Very nice wedding shot. It isn't a "traditional" style wedding image and it is very nicely framed. They are beautiful people.

Not traditional by any stretch of the imagination, but neither is your style of photographic expression. For that reason I'm a likey it, too!
It's an effective portrait of happiness. The blown out background works brilliantly; it focuses a lot of attention back to the couple. Nice image. Regards, Brent

My best portrait was the one with the little girl. that was precious.
You captured pure hapiness here! Isn't that something fantastic!
Look at her smile!
Hard choice but if I really need to choose then I take "model stare".
sk: hmmmmmm.............. interesting, I can't say which is my best but i really like that shot as well
What else can I say but: Gasp, you've capture the love àsìkò, beautiful smile

this is a lovely professional portrait. having said that my favorite was the flower girl; i prefer more a reportage style of portrait. All good though.
sk: seems everybody is really liking the flower girl, thanx for all ur comments everybody.
Unusual to see a couple in glasses on their wedding day. In terms of composition, I like how neither of them is looking directly at you (Although that is what I liked about the girl with the flower).
sk: yea I wondered about that myself, thanks or ur comment

àsìkò,

I'm going to suprise you here. I realy loved all your images from 05-Mar-06. Could not have done them better myself. The one the jumps out to my memory is "the quiet contemplate". Don't know why but it just stuck in my mind since I saw it. So bro, a BIG well done this week. I hope to see more good stuff from you next week or else .......

This is a great shot. It looks great in b&w. I wonder what made you take it in b&w. btw, thanks for your comments.
