Portrait of the Pier 2: Wheres all the drama?

Theme: Brighton

Thanks to everybody for their kinds comments, I'm so glad you liked the image. Today I decided to flip the script and produce a different take on the same brighton pier (this shot was taken about a week before yesterdays shot).

Whatcha think of this one?

Love that sky! The boardwalk helps pull your eye out to the center of the image.

a huge contrast from yesterday's blog. Looks like a postcard
Nice view of the pier, the sea and the sky...
Wish I was there !
What am I doing in a big city? :-(
Shows a great contrast between a HDR image and an 'out of camera' shot. really like them both for different reasons.

Very beautiful, love the clouds in the blue sky smile
Now Im happy because I think I will visit Brighton this Summer wink
i find the clouds over surreal, hahaha~ but i do like the broadwalk, agrees with coffeelover!!
I grew up in an English seaside town. I now live in a semi-industrial non-coastal town. This shot makes me realise that I miss quite a few things and would like to be back at the sea.
