photoblog image A bunch for mama

A bunch for mama

Have you sent your mom a mothers day card? U sent her some flowers?

In the UK its mothers day today and so I dedicate this image to the woman who carried me for nine months and gave me life. Happys mothers day mom and to all our moms who love us so deeply.

Yesterdays shot was cold and abstract, today I decided to go for warm and colourful.

Whatcha think about this shot? All your comments are very well

Not really a big one on mothers day and my mum doesn't really bother me about it. I guess that's how we've been brought up in my family.

Great shot. Good lighting though the flash looks like it was a bit much in this case. Don't forget to switch your clocks...wink
sk: yea i know the flash is a bit much. crap i lost an hour

Seen something similar from you befor (remember I am old smile )

Love the framing, love the lighting, love the DOF. Lovely shot. The Subster LIKEY
sk: thanks Subster
very lovely. i agree with jide on the flash - i think i'd like more of an illusion of similar light source.
sk: thanks Jessica
Lovely ! I guess your mom was happy with such gorgeous flowers.
Works well with the sky and the impressive clouds as background!
The flash creates a feeling of being very close maybe a softer flash would have improved things. But hey I still thought thats cool as this page loaded.

I do like the warmth to today's photo. I like the lighting on the flowers, too.

The lighting on the flowers is way too harsh. Interesting colours though, together with that background.

I like!!! Lovely composition. The blurry (stormy?)background and the tulips contrast nicely

Beautiful flowers, I like the resistance between the colors.

Ok shot, but not as good as the one you posted on the 23rd. The lighting on the flowers is a bit too harsh. As for mothers day, erm... didn't send my mum anything. In fact, she called me at 1:30 am this morning - her first words were "how come you're still awake so late". Duh!

It'nice.Little less flash and a little less blur on the background would make it better though.
I like this image. For me, the foreground element is a bit too bright/contrasty. Overall, well done though.
