Funny because it seems like we've both caught the same disease.

HDR again??
Wow, the clouds are so dramatic!
Great scene here.
amazing color and clouds..contrast here is fantasticsmile
Hi, asiko! Nice work on this one. I do like the very saturated effect here. Like a couple of your othe shots, it is similar to looking at the still from a dream. Regarding inspiration, I too am not out there shooting that much these days. My passion for photography doesn't wane, but the strict motivation to go out and take pictures all the time does. When people start photographing stuff in their house, I tell them to go outside! But when people are sick of going out to get shots, I say, "Stay home and shoot!" If you have a macro lens, take a macro or two (if that's your thing). Maybe try to find some abstracts to shoot. If anything, try to find something that you can take shots of that will produce different photographs than what you're posting now. As I'm writing this, I realize I need to take my own advice! Kind regards.
City on fire? Lovely shot. I like shots of different moods of the sky. Try this one, I am quite proud of it.

very very beatiful.
HDR?
I like the use of HDR in this one, it doesn't actually take over the image!!
I would prefer the boat in the middle for this shot! Another HDR? Very nice colours of the sky! smile

I think today's shot is ok, and I really understand the feeling of not have anything new to put up. I believe that you should crop out the road on the right.

I hate it when I'm in a slump. Nothing catches my eye and what I do shoot doesn't work! My daughter gets artist's block with her drawing. When that happens, I tell her just do it anyway. Find something she likes by someone else and draw it. She won't because that's "copying." I try to use my own advice, shoot the same shot as someone else...that will hopefully lead into my own original idea. Then again, sometimes we just need a break to refuel. I've rambled enough.

What could possibly be missing from this shot? That is so incredibly gorgeous!

Absolutely gorgeous!! smile
Amazing sky with wonderful colours that reflect on the water, would love to be there to see this with my own eyes smile
HDR is getting done a lot lately on many sites i think this shot is not as heavily done as some so is ok. I would agree that I would have probably cropped the bridge out.

Beautiful image. I find that when my creativity is lacking, I should read photography books about new techniques or methods to inspire me to try something new.

still not too keen on HDR, but it works a treat here!
Hi there. This is a perfectly well executed and presented shot. The composition's spot on with equal interest above and below the horizon and the colour is punchy. A pleasing, if ordinary scene.

A friend of mine does daft things like this:
http://www.stevebright.com/new/large01.htm?small01,7
to create visually appealing abstracts. It's just an overhead shot of two blue bottles with the light from a slide projector shining through them. It's one of his that I often remember when I'm struggling to produce the goods. Er, that would be now!

Nice pic dude. Any thoughts on maybe getting some shots of activity. Movement could help move your thoughts to something else - even if you don't like them. Otherwise, open a book to a random page (I know the ones you like) and find a word - take that as a theme and go somewhere with it.

It looks like a sunset after a huge thunder storm, very dramatic and "end of the world" kind of way. Cool smile
Love those sunset colours! Very nicely executed by hiding the sun behind the buildings to avoid lens flaring.
I think this image is great! There is something literally missing in that buildings in the center of the shot are silhouettes. But that is fine! This is an incredible shot. I hate being in a slump... I know what you're going thru!

Perfect,awe-inspiring and magical. This is one of the best sunset/sunrise photos I have ever seen.If you don't mind I'm linking to it today.Nothing is lacking although if you feel there is try increasing the shadows to make it a silhouette but it is perfect the way it is and I would advise against it.Congrats.
Simply gorgeous! Great shot.
