photoblog image Let me entertain you

Let me entertain you

Ok we are seriously diping into my emergency well of shots. I am running out of shots, lacking inspiration and have little or no motivation to shoot new stuff. Looks bleak.

This shot was taken in London in a Shakespeare type theatre thingy (God knows). I wasn't paying attention to bother, was more concerned with the shot.

Anyway I titled this let me entertain you for obvious reasons. Hope U likey. Well................... whadya think?

All those in favour of me taking a break from blogging (cos I am running out of stuff, and I might need a breather). Ur thots?

Wow, I like this one. Great sillouette, almost a statue in itself. Goes very well with the background. Thumbsup from me today!
sk: thanx Mr Bong
Yeah... what happened to that competition? Any news? On another front, we're thinking of organising a trip to the Wetlands Center and Hammersmith next week (8/9th April). Anyone interested? Should be able to get lots of good wildlife shots there.
sk: sounds good

I go through this type of dry spell quite often and I begin to think that I am putting myself through a lot of stress for no reason. Then I have to think of the fact that the site motivates me to work at my photography. So it's gotta be a balance I think of both. I always worry that if I quit posting, then I won't go back to it and it will all be lost. Ya I dipped into my little archive of shots today too and now I need to start thinking again about what I am going to shoot. I find going to other blogs really inspires me to try new shots too. Naaaa.....don't give up! You've got talent and you don't want to let that go now do you???
sk: thanx very much for ur encouragement
I like the picture but not to convinced with the idea, i have been enjoying ur posts .. so just go out and shoot something !
sk: LOL thanks, i will try and go out and shoot more

dude take your time.

you not doing it for a living so let the ideas flow at their own time.
Just because other's are pushing online doesn't mean you have to listen.

Take time, watch and don't shoot. Then go make pictures that are yours, not rehashed photoshopped work, but work you can truly call your own.

grin
sk: thanks Joe
Relax! Wait for your muse ! ;-)
In any case this is an awesome picture! Very eerie and surreal !
Great colors !
sk: thanx madam Sidney

WOW! I know this is a stock photo, but this is incredible work! Don't leave the day-to-day blogging world yet. This shot is one of my favorites of yours (if not my favorite). The central composition is simply BRILLIANT. I LOVE IT. Very high regards, Brent

ASIKO, You know a trick I always use when I feel like you do. II PUT UP A DUFF IMAGE smile
Bet you are wondering huh. Yep I do, By the time the felllows around here have soo laid into you, your inspiration to put up your bestest and more inspred shots will be at the highest of levels. Then the motivation to go out and shoot will somehow find it's way to your head and heart. So matey, give it a try, MAKE MY DAY smile

Suby
sk: hmmmmmmmmm.................. I hate being dared, so from tomorrow i will put up duff images done with my casio camera, when I was seriously wet behind the ears
Great shot. Very artistic.
sk: Thanks Navin
Ade...post when you feel like it. A photo you don't want to put up today may be a photo you would tomorrow. There are also different ways of presenting the same image, try black and white or colour saturation on a old image. As long as you enjoy it...I do since breaking the hold of daily posts. I now feel a bit more relaxed and post when I want to...could never sustain a one a day approach.

Suby must be having a few days when he lacks motivation then! wink lol
sk: I am considering it Simon
p.s. love the picture but think he is a little large in the frame for me...just a smidgen though...great eye to see the opportunity and lovely colours etc...
sk: thanks dude
Great colour
sk: thanks Dr

Top notch! Super lighting, great colours. Instantly appealing.

As for breathing new life, almost any of my original images can be improved simply by judicious cropping. I'm sure there are some that I could get several images out of, simply by cropping in different ways. Perhaps we could all have a go at this as a theme sometime?
sk: thanks dude, hope ur enjoying ur time in shutterchance

we all have lean times and just have to plough on, it's not the end of the world if an odd duff one gets through.
This isn't duff incedentally - the royal academy of arts perhaps?
sk: yea i think its the royal academy of arts. thanks

The shot is fantastic and well titled! Very good dip into the emergency well of shots!
First, let me just say I like how the silhouette works into this shot. Second, photoblogging daily is challenging, and I can certainly understand the feeling of burnout. I find that sometimes you have to post a less effective shot in order to keep up with the daily challenge, or find a new place to shoot. My point? Try working through the burnout and see what gets you to the other side.
Nothing wrong with posting stuff from the archives! I do it all the time. I bet you'll find some more stunning work to show off. This is great!
