photoblog image Who's that girl?

Who's that girl?

Ok I am really tired now and I ain't working on anything tonite and since its 11.30pm I can't be bothered and so I am putting up one of my emergencies.

I sometimes feel this shot is incomplete or maybe I softened it too much, geez I dunno. Anyway tell me what you think?

Processing:  I cropped and softened the image by applying guassian blur at 50% opacity between two layers.

Thats a very shy pose! I like the blur and it really adds to the mystery what the girl is tryting to hide with the expressions.

sk: thanks Sidney
i like the pose...look like she giggling...nice soft tone and compositionsmile
sk: thanks
I like the pose; I'm probably in the minority, but the blur is just too heavy for me. I am biased, though, in that I almost always dislike it in photos. Thus, take my words with a grain of salt. Cheers!
sk: thanks Brent, i wasn't sure about the blur (somehow i think it works)

Well, she's got that teasing and mysterious pose, so the blur works great! Awesome lighting as well.

I think you did use too much blurring, but I like the idea and the pose.

Very nice pose. The blur might be a touch heavy, but it's still an excellent image.

I love the concept, colours and composition, but I think you said it yourself - just a little too much softening for me.

A portrait I magnify, with a touch of mystery and glamour
Still a nice image smile
Nice! I agree with you, it is kind of softened a little more than necessary...
A very nice shot i like it. I think the blur as a whole is fine although it looks like you have taken something (blur tool?) across her elbow and caused a lightening effect as a streak.

Too much softening sad Looks like the bottom part of her arm is painted white. In my opinion would have been perfect without any softening at all - instead a bit of a soft glow would be better.
