photoblog image All by myself

All by myself

This shot represents how I feel about photography sometimes.

I am really interested to hear what you think of this shot. Does it say anything to you?

Today might be my last post or maybe tomorrow, heck I dunno.

Have a great day everyone

Yeah like K, I kinda like it as well.
I think it might benefit more from having no human element though. I think theres enough impetus for the image without it.
The expression of isolation or solitude I think would still be there and perhaps even more defined with no human presence.
sk: interesting...... thanx

its interesting - maybe a relaxed feel to the image?
sk: thanx for ur comment Dave
Sometimes when you're a photographer you're standing outside the subject you're shooting. Here I see that, and it's presented very well...the beauty of that loneliness. Regards, Brent
sk: cheers Brent
"Chilled out" is what i feel looking at the picture, nice capture.
Last blog bro, whats going on, you going somewhere? Has LV scared you away?

Crop off the right bit of the image, from the rounded pavement. Now thats a better image. smile

LV
sk: LV can't scare one such as moi (who is great with the force), just taking time off for now. Will be back soon ........ I think

Great shot! My feeling from this one, as a photographer, is one of excitement and satisfaction of capturing a special moment like this.

I feel a person who is away from the 'crowd', the convention of photogaphy. A person who enjoys the distance (subject sitting proud away from people in distance) and the experience..I am I close?? I somehow sense some lonliness in that photographic place? Geez perhaps I am looking a little too deeply....
sk: ur deep sha, ur spot on though

I know what you mean. The picture, with your first line tells a story and speaks to me... Good shooting. I think you could do away with the lamp post on the right though. tongue
sk: yea I'm beginning to think so as well, thanx for the advice

Not afraid to be different, although occationally missing the company of convention.. if that makes sense. Great shot. Alas your title informs me that you've been listening to a certain canadian born chanteuse a bit too much.. ;-)
iT DOESW SAY SOMETHING - GOD i NEED A BREAK AND LET ME ENJOY THE SCENE FOR ONCE THAN WORRYING ABOUT GETTING A GOOD SHOT FOR OTHERS.Whoops sorry for all caps mistake :-P well did I get it right? What did I win?
I am afraid I am not a fan of this one...but if it conveys how you feel then it must work smile
