I decided to dump a portrait today.  Geez I remember when I did this wth table lamps from the side to illuminate her face, i would never do that again. And yes I now the light is harsh. I decided to employ a crop I haven't used before 2:1, do you think it works with this shot?

I can't think of a title, anybody wanna help?

Everybody done their reflection theme? believe it or not I haven't.

I thought u crop to ur preference. Are there standards or something?

I know I can check google...kinda lazy
hmm.. title..? umm..could be.. 'beige and besotted..'
'eyes speak lies..' 'a stare at self!' 'beige and black!', 'cold damn!' 'the accosted..' ..

i mean depends on how we view the expressions..

ahh..the eyes..really capture your thoughts at first glance.. and they could convey a thousand meanings, thoughts.. feelings..

all in all, eyes dispaly a strong faith .. doesnt matter if the faith is employed on good/bad means of movin on in life..

eyes b'coz of the reflection of the light are surely captivating..
light does bother you, but then it highlights as well.. the darkness.. so its okay.. dun worry..

//i would never do that again.// >> now this got me smiling..

I think it works, light looks good. Think you could have got away with the subject being more to the right, more on the third.

The Sith Lady?

I like the crop and the spotlight in the corner. Works for me.

Yes, I think the crop works well. Maybe, as BeakerSt says, she could be a little more to the right, but only a fraction if at all. The lighting flares work well here (with the exception of the yellow dot in front of her face), as does the light source in the top left corner. I like the rim light around the hood. The whole picture is good with the exception of the overlight mouth/nose areas. In fact, if the face was darker it could lend a more moody (sinister?) feel to it.

My choice of title? 'Unmasked'

Before the big fight..
Like the lens flare like the crop. Get rid of the pinpoint to right of face. Agree with Steve darker face would make for more sinister feel if that is what you were going for.
she remind me of raccoon:-P nice composition and light settingsmile)
