photoblog image Allo gorgeous

Allo gorgeous

ARRRGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I really don't like what shutterchance did to my image, this image is crisp and clean on my PC, but I can see it as sumdgey and crinkley, when i upload. This is the first time I put up an image at 300 dpi, could that be the reason? answers?

Anyway moving on, here is another attempt lighting that i did over the weekend, is this any better than yesterdays, what do I need to improve on this one, any ideas? some constructive feedback like yesterday would be nice. I hate the title and couldn't think anything interesting, any ideas?

more 2moro as I journey into this lighting drama.

hopefully by the end of all this I will be able to take better portraits and light up my subjects much better.

You can try using a sunlite Reflectors and a white diffuser if you have them,no flash. It will definitely give subtle tones on the skin. good luck and keep shooting

hey asiko,

i really love the contrast of the white shirts against the green of the trees, however, i think that the shirts need to be toned down a bit. as it stands right now, the white is the first thing that my eyes are drawn to because it is so bright.
sk: thanx, will tone them down and bring out the detail

I am loving it, love the look on the "babe" at the back. Now that is A LOOK smile I do agree about toning down the shirts a bit, a little on the bright side. Liking the lighting though.

People do not understand use of flash during the day, but used effectively it can be a very useful tool. Well done bro.

lovely lovely shot

sk: thanx Suby, I shot everything in RAW so i will tone it down. I am beginning to think shooting in RAW is the way fwd to deal exposure issues that i couldn't sort out when I shoot. Still loads to learn about lighting but I will get there ..........abi

I agree, they seem pretty sharp already but maybe a little on the shiny side due to the flash comments already made.
sk: i actually softened this shot, but shutterchance sharpens ur shots more. the lighting makes them sharp, still learning how to use the new equipment
The whites seem to be blown out with too much and I would have used a diffuser on the flash to tone it down a bit. The eyes are nice but show the tell-tale sign of using a flash which should have been worked in PP. I like the shot, but sometimes lighting can be a big problem at this time of day.

The girl at the back looks fierce (as tyra would say)... I think it would've been better if the girls were placed in a different way because then the white color wouldn't be so 'in your face.' Other than that, I love the colors, I love the contrast of the white with the green background. For a start, this is GREAT. Well done!
