photoblog image Looking to the sky

Looking to the sky

Hope everyone had a great weekend. I tend to do a lot of flash stuff these days, hence this image. This image was quite hard to produce as the flowers were very close to the wall, so I had to position myself between both to get a shot with the sky. I tried to get rid of the hedge in the composition, but it wasn't happening and since I am doing a very little or no PP, I didn't take it off (no time).

I will be taking some time off shutterchance due to my very busy schedule, will be back I promise.

--Slanting picture, not really working in this case.
I really like the idea, but the execution still needs alot of work.

If your doing shots of this nature, take alittle more time to plan them out, use a sketch pad a pencil a make small compositions, first, even before thinking about pressing that camera button!

Actually, picture is growing on me, matbe cos I see the potential this shot had!

Asiko, keep up the good work smile
sk: thanx Mr Skee

Funny thing is i really like the composition here. Nice colours and sky. The slant also makes it different. The only minus is the dark bit towards the right, but i'm sure because of the angle of the shot (and that dreary part of the sky) it couldn't be helped. Very nice shot.
sk: thanx very much Morenike

I have seen you do this many times now, one of the best of the type, I remember the single tulip, that had a more dramatic sky and for me better composition, but lets not compare, like this one alot, GREAT GREAT SHOT!!!

Nice shot.Post card material.
Great angle for this shot and a nice exposure. The sloped horizon adds a lot to this shot (as i lift and tilt my laptop wink ). Thanks for sharing! smile
