A request for Enae

I wasn't gonna put this shot up mainly bcos I wasn't sure what to do it, should I process it? should I not? how do I process it? the list is endless. Enae requested the image so i decided to put it up, I think the plant might be a bit similar to the Enae's shot yesterday. So this is for U Enae, have a great weekend.

I don't know the name of this unusual plant. This is shot was done using two flashguns (yeap i'm a bit crazy with flash). One from the back and one from the front, off camera of course.

I'd like to say a big THANK YOU to everybody who participated in yesterdays theme, the numbers keep growing. The next theme has been chosen by the lovely Barbara, and the theme is .............................drum roll!!!!......................... MUSIC. And it will be on the 21st of July so start preparing ur shots.

lovely shot, I like the way the flower is leaning towards the viewer, and the focus is dwindling along with the colour changing - if that makes sense
sk: thanks very much Idefix
Cool stuff....
sk: thanx mate
I suggest you make your theme announcements on the main page as someone else has put a idea for a theme already.

Flower shots don't particularly do it for me, nice colours but this shot does not wow me, takes an exceptional one to.

Hey just thought of something, I always seem to give these sort of comments to flower shots and then I hardly put up any, depriving you good folks who are better than me in taking shots like these the opportunity to get me back with comments on my probably feeble attempt at a flower shot.

So to be fair, I will post up a flower shot for tomorrow, be gentle with the Subster(or maybe I will just go green shhs tongue)

Wow! I like the colors, so nice and bright. I like bright. From afar I thought it was some pepper fruit kind of plant smile. keep it up.
viva la revolution! A photo that doesn't subscribe to the 'sparklite trinity'! Thankyou my asiko for this, you have restored my faith in all that is good and right in the world. History has been made in this shot, a new breakthrough, an entry into the unknown... I would like to bestow upon you the most honourable rank of 'general of all things against three' in the shutterchance underground. We are small, but growing by the day... all the details are hidden, burried.. deep within the labyranth's of shutterchance... you must find them all to unlock the secrets... do you know where they all are... i have given you the first key in this message, it is up to you to see where it takes you... welcome to the resistance general, i wish you luck in your battle againt the 'sparklite trinity'.... VIVA LA REVOLUTION! grin

The photo is beautiful on it's on, neither can i think of any other ways I would like to process it if I were in your shoes. Good post! wink A small bug on the flower could enhace the visual effects i suppose.
i absolutely love this photo. i love the way the colors fade from deep orange to yellow. you have done a spectacular job of preserving the colors and texture of this plant. i think editing, of any kind, would serve to ruin this capture. great job!
