photoblog image Mysteries of the ever green

Mysteries of the ever green

OK I am waiting for your responses on this one, interested what U have to say on todays, thumbs up, thumbs down. This is a piece of art I developed from a shot of in Stanborough park not far from where I live. I haven't shot for a while and so I decided to do some shooting just before sunset.

CRAP!!!!!!!!!!!! I haven't got a theme shot. Have U?

Genenrally I like it. It's not fantastic, but it isn't bad either. So I guess I am ambivalent...I am in a funk today with the over 100F degree heat (38C). So maybe that's it. I can't do anything in this stuff and it's taking it's toll. I went to get some shots today and the haze was already bad well before 8AM.
sk: its been really really hot here as well, but today (Thank God) its cooled down with the rain. I did some early morning shots the other day and I had to get up at 4.30 to start shooting at 5.30 to catch the sunrise
i dig this shot! this is great. i really like the pping. i think that the image, before pping, probably would have been fairly ordinary. however, i love the effects of this shot...the tone is great, the sky is awesome, and i really like the noise.
sk: thanx very much Nicole, actually the original shot was dramatic (bcos of the clouds) but not as dramatic is this version

Thumbs up for me, Asiko, incredibly arty and cool. Would you care to enlighten us about the pp?
sk: thanx Sinem. This is an HDR shot made from 3 exposures generated from RAW shooter. colour was removed, toning in yellow and green. individual toning of sky (blue), tree and foliage (green) and ground (red). a soft focus layer was added and then finally some film grain

Thumbs up! but is the world coming to an end in this pic? its very eerie..

p.s
how is baby anjola? pls put up some more piccies of him..
sk: thanx Dezhare, no baby Todd pics, what does Anjola mean? sounds dodgy, if so definitely no pics LOL
This isn't bad. Did you try reducing the noise in this one? I think you should reduce it more. Too noisy.

Also why not straighten it too?
sk: thanx dude, the noise was added (wasn't trying to remove). do U straighten using the transform tool in PS?
