photoblog image Expression behind the veil

Expression behind the veil

I did my first wedding on saturday, oh my God, I have a new found respect for wedding photographers, itsa lotta lotta work. Trying to organise people who don't want to listen and have their "ideas" of what wedding photographs should be, only God (and Maro) maintained my sanity. Drama Drama Drama, or maybe its just nigerian weddings :) That aside it was fun.

This is one of the shots I was fortunate enuff to catch, its all about moments and expressions. I did a bit of PP to change it from the original picture which included a lot of clutter in the background.

Any improvements to this photo?

Doesn't she look happy?

More wedding stuff tomorrow.

i really like the lightness of this picture, awsome shot
sk: thnx very much Simon
hey asiko,

cool shot! i absolutely love the bride's expression. it reveals utter and complete happiness and contentment. i love the effect of the veil over her face. one suggestion would be to darken the background just enough to allow the veil to stand out from the background.

Very nice Ade. She definitely looks happy. Well done.

I have a few issues though; The white background looks nice but in my opinion doesn't work well with someone wearing a white dress and white veil. Also, the 'cropping' (I hope I used the right word) on her shoulder doesn't look right. What d'you think?

Dude where are my shots o! Abeg!
sk: thanx dude, I love the the shot the way it is (I see ur becoming technical these days abi LOL)
sorry dude Ur shots will come soon, I've been really busy. I am looking to finish it tonite or 2moro and send them out

She is positively overflowing with Joy! You can tell through her smile. Lovely shot.

Special event photography is very demanding, stressful, and exhausting. But it can be a lot of fun too.
like east mysterious picture. The pictures are something that never I could do. For that reason I like much to see them. Obtained the photography very well.
Disculpe mi Inglés, pero no es muy bueno.
