photoblog image The brides hand

The brides hand

Ok Ade needs some help on todays shot. I couldn't process anything as I have a had a busy weekend. So I decided to put up this unprocessed shot and see what could be done. Don't get me wrong I like it but I am unsure how to process it, and I think it could be a bit better. So what do you think, how could I improve it? Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

hey ade,

i really like the angle from which you shot this. i think that perhaps a simple conversion to mono might really improve this shot. i think the dof is perfect the way it is...the blur really allows the viewer's eyes to be drawn to the bride's hand.
Interesting softening....I don't think it's the processing....I think it's the shot itself. I don't find it interesing enough.

I agree with Sisila, the bg colors are a bit distracting, otherwise a nice compostion.

Maybe changing the background only to b&w and leaving the bride in colour would make it stand out more

I think the focus was a little soft. I would love to see you bring out the gorgeous detail of the gown so that it would be the main focal point of the shot.
