Flower girl

I thank everybody for their comments on yesterdays shot, it was most usefull, I will hopefully put up a processed version of the shot very soon.

Today I have put up a shot from a weekend shoot I did with someone who is close to my heart. Basically I was cracking jokes as usual and she was laughing away while I snapped. This was done at the backyard where I live so I couldn't get more sky in the shot and I really didn't wanna clone away the surrounding vegetation into sky.

Anyway whatcha think of this shot? any good?

I love how you lit her up. The background I also love.
How did you light her? I reckon you underexposed the sky.
sk: thanx Deji, i tend to underexpose my skies to make them more dramatic. I light her up using flash (i love to play with light)

Asiko this is nice. VERY nice.

The background and skies look like there's a storm coming; but she's so alive, smiling and unmoved by it. Smiling in the midst of a storm. Definitely a good shot for the beginning of another week!

Well done man.
sk: Mr chichi thanx very much, I like ur explanation, its deep, is this the result of married life? me too I should get married O

How do you get ur skies to be so moody?
I think the sky and the vegetation in the background is an excellent backdrop for this lovely lady in black. However, ditto Jide, i wish there was more of her in the pic. And i agree, you should get married wink
sk: thanx Morenike

This is pretty cool. The dark dramatic scene doesn't really go with her jovial expression though. But I still like it. She is stunning.

oga you haven't lost it sha. I really like this. although as the last person commmented, its like very soon the troubles and storms of life will wipe that smug smile of your face. Quite depressing actually ;-)
Lovely framing, the dramatic clouds makes it a very interesting portrait!!
