photoblog image An old love

An old love

This is one of my oldies from last year when I started photography. I simply love this image and I am gonna try and replicate it someday cos I feel it could be better (I was wet behind the ears, still am though).

For those interested in wedding photography I have put up a slide show of some of my wedding images, check it out now. If you are looking for a wedding photographer and U like my work, give me shout. Link below;

I like this shot and I think it would be great to see your attempt at the same type of subject one year on, to see what new angle you produce.

sk: hmmmmmmm............will do, never thot of that
Nice shot, good use of DOF!
sk: thanx Dotun
Ade, you've got PhotoSam to than for directing me here. I like the shot a lot, good composition, great use of differential focus. This would look great in monochrome and I agree with Sam I would try the Photoshop Toy action as one possible treatment. Check out some of my flowers shots.
sk: thanx Alistair, will do

Still have the rose (and bloke who gave it smile ) so you're more than welcome to come and do another shoot if you need to. I remember the pancakes that went with this photo shoot!! Thankfully the love that went with the rose isn't old yet.
sk: awww nice to hear from Katharine, I'm glad the love hasn't died
