Lavendar and the Bee

Thanks to everybody who stops by to visit my blog and a special to those who comment, I appreciate it very much, esp considering I have put up the anti-spam thingy.

Todays shot is more flower and bee, hope the flower shots have been to ur liking so far. This was taken a few months when the summer was beginning to phase out. And yes I used a flash to illuminate and bring out colours. I think I have become a bit friendly with bees, cos I seem to get some interesting shots with them. Actually they are quite annoying, they never sit still to photograph  hence I have to use the flash to catch a still shot. More flower stuff 2moro.

Bring on friday already

For those interested in wedding photography I have put up a slide show of some of my wedding images, check it out now. If you are looking for a wedding photographer and U like my work, give me shout. Link below;

Tres Nice Asiko. I thought flash killed colours?
sk: depends on the flash used. I use a 580EX speedlite with a diffuser, the light is softer with the diffuser. Also I shoot off camera, so I can angle the light from wherever I want, hence creating an effect. Ur camera flash like mine kills colours

Fantastic detail on this, really lovely. Just wish it wasn't of a bee. During my NYSC year in Enugu, we took a long trek through the bushes to get to town from the camp. The soldiers warned us not to use any lotion, deodorant or the like. I just could not be caught dead without any of that stuff. You can imagine what happened to me. It took hours to shake the ants out of my hair.
