photoblog image Lady and the blade

Lady and the blade

Different from yesterdays............introducing Rebecca, Matts girlfriend. Very gracefull and beautifull with her blade. She could show Matt a thing or two with her blade LOL.

This shot provided challenging lighting but I am learning, I also feel I could have composed it better, learning still. I'm sure Simon will help me out on that.

Preferred yesterdays shot by a long mile, This would have been better in monochrome as well. I don't know, there is something about the lighting and the pose/composition that makes her look like a man, and don't get me wrong, not that I am saying she looks like a bloke, but the way you have presented this image makes her look like one.

Still ill and taking no prisoners Suby

My sons, especially Robert, would be so into this stuff. Great shot.

oooh, drooling over this one. Not the image, the blade. It would be so useful in Lagos traffic. I can just see myself running straight at a bus driver, screaming and wielding this beauty. It sure would be effective. If you haven't driven in lagos, you wouldn't understand this bit of madness.

What a couple they are, I wonder who wins the arguments ? I like the comp a lot. I don't know if you cropped it this way or shot it tight but it looks just about perfect to me.

I like how her face is framed by a triangle, which makes for a strong composition.
