Reflections and Resolutions (Part 1)

At this time of year there are a lot of reflections and resolutions, Oh I am gonna change, I ain't gonna do that no more blah blah. Have U set ur new year resolutions? We all set them up and don't follow through past the first months? hmmmmmmm............................ Someone once told me 'To initiate change you have to change your way of thinking' I am still trying to change my way of thinking............

This was taken in Primose Hill and YES thats me, God bless the person who invented the self timer. I don't do much night photography, but heres my attempt at some. There is a colour version of this, don't know which is better, we'll see.

On another note I am getting married next year by Gods grace and I am looking for beautiful venues any ideas? I have been looking but with no luck so far, boy is it hard work.

A HAPPY NEW YEAR to everyone

Cool flare from the lamp! A moody, soulful shot that speaks volumes to the onlooker.

fully beautiful and soulful. i am so enchanted with this photo. thank you for sharing. i do not know much about marriage - but the small secret part of you that holds the sentimental secrets - listen to that voice.. (home, beach, island, church, park) if you follow the good parts inside of you - nothing can be wrong. peace to you and your woman. ~S.
sk: LOL thanx Sorcha, ur very right

wow..! very moving shot,
great job...!!
sk: thanx very much Shiv
Well Asiko, you have done stunningly beautiful work here. How on earth do you manage to get so much shadow at a 3 sec exposure?!! More to the point, how the bloody hell did you stay so still for so long?! 3 secs plus the timer, by my reckoning, at least 5 seconds. Very patient, can't have been at all easy in the cold. Great work. Many regards, Neil.
sk: I did a bit of burning to get shadows, I also bowed my head to make shadows fall on my body. yea it was cold, but I am patient. thanx very muc Neil

I cannot imagine how you might improve on this stunning, atmospheric self-portrait.
You probably won't be able to find time to do stuff like this when you get married, so speed that shutter finger!
