photoblog image The flower and the girl

The flower and the girl

Ok I know this one might not be technically perfect, but I love it cos its a picture of a special someone. GOSH I seem to be devoting my blog to her.......... OK I want new models............. people interested increasing their portfolio. I think I should taking photography seriously, but then will I still enjoy it.

Anybody does photography full-time, do u still enjoy it?

I am in Nigeria............... where it is hopefully HOT.

I want to buy medium format camera, anybody know anyting?

I like the composition of this shot. The eyes could be a bit sharper and more well lit in my opinion though
When do you return? I'm still in Kigali.
I am still loving photography smile

The best photos are the ones that mean something to the photographer. The viewer can tell somehow.

Photography is a part time gig for me. I am so busy with the kids and their many activities that photography fits nicely into my schedule. I also work for an orchestra part time, so I guess I have to part time jobs and one full time job.

I don't know if I would still LOVE it if it was a full time gig. I know several full time photographers that have been in the business for many years.

Some still love it and some never pick up the camera anymore outside of the studio. If that ever happened to me I think my heart would break.

I haven't touched a medium format camera since 1981, so I don't have anything to offer there.
I like this shot alot. Great job.
Beautiful picture, the composition is perfect and so artistic !!

I like this but wonder if it's the framing that lifts it. I think you compose portraits very well...I like the innocent happiness in there.

As regards cameras, if I were you I'd concentrate on what you've got before you go challenging yourself with more equipment. When your current kit starts holding you back then go for it...question is whether it's holding you back yet or not?
hey like ur work.would also like to be ur model cos i think u like brother's work and i was his model for the shoot u commented on.

I had not seen this photo and she has made an impression to me. A presentation with a perfect frame, a very handsome girl and a rose... that can more be requested? Nothing!
