photoblog image Solemn bride

Solemn bride

Yes this is bridal image I know but I am not a wedding photographer before you start. I did a few images for my wife in her wedding dress some months shortly after our wedding. The wind was just right to blow her cathedral veil.

I consider this image one of my fine art images............ so what is fine art photography? heck I dunno, it just sounds nice and pretentious. What is fine art photography to you? and whose work do you admire as a fine art photographer?

I'm not sure what fine art photography is either, but this is really a lovely image. I love how she's using the veil and the slight angle of the shot. Very nice indeed.
sk: thanks Dawn, my quest continues to find the meaning of fine art

Fine photography, to me, is the ability to capture an image and make it come alive on an inanimate object such as a plain screen or sheet.

This shot of your wife is breath-taking. The wind blowing made it come alive.

I admire Alakija's photography, as well as yours.
