photoblog image Drift away

Drift away

Anytime my wife is naughty I think I will threaten her with this image
that I will put her on a chair in the middle of the river
yea I wish, anybody who is married or in a serious relationship will know I am so fibbing

Anyway this was from my 1940 muse concept with my missus (this doesn't look 1940s though)
I had finished the original image and decided to go overboard, yes I know, quite overboard
but thats the fun of photography these days, someone like me with half a brain can envision things
in my head and put them on print. I always try to create the images that come from my head, unfortunately it doesn't always work......... but there u go
Something from my head tommorrow or sometime soon

PS I am thinking of leaving my job and doing photography full time "go on Ade....... jump.........jump you coward..........but I am so scared.......... jump dammit................." the battle rages on

Perchance to dream...

Very impressive "collage"
sk: thanks blackdog, collages are real hard work
If you decide to jump then I wish you well. Remember it is very different creating pictures to please yourself and creating pictures people will pay for.
sk: I agree very much Bill, I am beginning to see that when I take on jobs
Asiko, This is lovely. I think you have too much of the landscape in the picture though. Which slightly distracts attention in this particular shot all the same it is a lovely shot. Take a look at my page, I need critics. Have not got good equipment yet but that is coming soon.
Cheers.
sk: thanks Obi, the background and subject are working together, you are supposed to be distracted by the background, they all contribute to the image. U don't need equipment to make images, I use my camera phone sometimes and I still use a point and shoot compact as well

you obviously have the technical skills required in a photographers business.
if you also have the business skills, then by all means jump and stop hogging another person's opportunity to be employed tongue
asiko...another wonderful, dreamlike image for your portfolio...does your wife have a blog?...may we ask her about what your dreams are like?
Hey, Chicken...I'm making the leap (in my case, from commercial photography to fine art). You gonna let me do it all by myself? Come'on in...the water's...well...honestly?...deep! But you've got a floating chair!
i know Brian Clough walked on water but.......lol

stunning image fella and with work like this i think doing this full time should be a doddel smile
Ade!!! You are so talented and unique. I second Zen in Yous' statement..Jump and you will fly!!! In fact soar through a multitude of creative galaxies aligning your vision with your purpose.

This picture is spectacular. I would also like to use this opportunity to formally demand that you upload your angel series, at least three in the progression.

Looking forward to experiencing more of your surrealist photography.

All the Best.
Wonderful Image.
Great work. El paisaje en si mismo ya es excelente, y con el montage, una maravilla.
